I have been honored to serve as the NBCS School Counselor since the 2003- 2004 school year. I earned my Bachelor's Degree at Berkshire Christian College, majoring in Youth Ministries. I then went on to earn an M.Ed. in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH. I hold a State of NH certification as a School Counselor. I am a member of the New Hampshire School Counselor Association and the American School Counselor Association. I have worked extensively in the human services field, including residential treatment facilities for children and adolescents and the NH State Hospital. I am part of the PBIS Universal Team and Behavior Intervention Team at NBCS working with other staff members to develop school-wide systems of positive behavior interventions and supports. I was part of the Anti-Bullying Task Force for SAU 19 and assisted with the development of the SAU 19 Anti-Bullying curriculum which I now present throughout the school year through weekly classroom visits. Currently I am working together with the other elementary counselors in the district to revise the SAU 19 school counseling curriculum and compile a resource guide for classroom teachers.
